LABRADOR COCO is the world’s first dog trained to detect the signs of a coma. His owner Karen Ruddlesden has Addison’s disease and Coco can sense varying levels in her hormones which can lead to a potentially fatal coma. Coco alerts his owner if he senses alterations, giving Karen plenty of time to administer a steroid injection or get medical help.
Karen says Coco had changed her life and given her more freedom and confidence. What a top dog?!
