The Retired Greyhound Trust (RGT) is holding a charity sale of ladies’ scarves at the Spirit of Summer Fair on 16-17 May 2012 at London’s Olympia. And they need you to donate them!
The RGT hopes to raise funds by offering a range of scarves to suit all styles and budgets, from good quality contemporary scarves to vintage and collectible designs. A long-term supporter of the RGT’s work is model Twiggy (pictured with retired greyhound Monty), who says: “This is such a great cause that is very important to me, which is why I have personally donated a scarf. I encourage everyone to dig deep into their wardrobes, and their hearts, and send in any fine scarves they can spare to help the Retired Greyhound Trust raise funds to rehome these gorgeous dogs.”
● If you can help, please send your scarf by 14 May 2012 to Scarf Appeal, Retired Greyhound Trust, Park House, 1-4 Park Terrace, Worcester Park, Surrey KT4 7JZ.
