A booster is required to get ur dog into a kennel for when you go away on holiday , else if they are not the dog will be rejected.

More and more kennels are accepting unvaccinated dogs, it isnt the Law, some local councils stipulate the kennels must only accept vaccinated dogs, but not all. Many also accept dogs vaccinated using homeopathic nosodes. They are growing in number every year. :D

When I come to think about things as such, I would ask myself, is all this vaccination, or any others, is a requirement or just people wanted to make money out of it. think about it, few hundred years ago, people don’t even have all this formula or vaccination yet, but I believe that the dogs that are from that era are stronger than those of now as the dogs nowadays rely too much on artificial immunity just like human does.

I did the puppy jabs then the booster for my two JRTs and then no jabs for 4 years until last month. There was an outbreak of Parvo at the local RSPCA and a few unvaccinated puppies died, the older vaccinated dogs had no problems.

I guess it also depends what you do with your dogs, some dogs might not get as exposed to viruses that vaccination covers.

It is a dilemma for every dog owner, as much on health grounds as financially.

I decided to vaccinate mine again. If vaccination was that bad and killed dogs, wouldn't they have been banned by now?

I feel it's very much like parents reaction to the MMR jab.
