Hiya

Sometimes if Shampoo isn't rinsed properly out of the coat the residue can make the dog itch, or it may be a plant in the garden/house that she likes to hang around and this could be irritating her, or she may have an allergy against something?.....just a few ideas xx

Why don't you give her a health check? This could help as you can spot any problems which can cause this . Start from the head and make your way to the body, check everything. Then check the fur , there might be wounds that could be healing that is causing the itching.Try some tea-tree oil or cream which is specially formulated for dogs and check what material her dog bed is made from as this maybe a allergie , or even what she wears and what shampoo you use on her could also be the problems. Don't try the tea-tree thing without consulting your vet first just to be on the safe side.If you need any help on health checking your dog , then ask me seeing as i am an animal care student.

My friends dog suffers from skin problems, abit like a dog skin exma and he itches it alot. I suggested she tried giving him the Yeomega oil on a daily basis and it actually cleared it up and the dog has since stopped itching.

Yeomega is available online or at Pets At Home, a bottle costs around £10 and will last you for approx a month. It also helps prevent alot of hair loss, I give it to my two JRs. Might be worth a try to see if it helps?
